This was a piece of life drawing homework for art school. It's a view from the backyard of the house I lived in then, done in conte crayons with some liberal thumb smudging. Special note: Fans of my comic strip "Helen, Sweetheart of the Internet" might be interested in knowing this house is where Helen now "lives," and she sees this view pretty much every evening. On particular strips in the series you can see the trees and the fence in this drawing.
