I wrote my undergraduate English Literature thesis on Thomas Stearns Eliot's classic poem The Lovesong of J. Alfred Profrock. This illustration was inspired by the poem, and shows Eliot as I perceived him, looking into windows off a street at night. The metaphors of soul, shadow, and definition are - I hope - manifest.
