This drawing was done for the Boston University Daily Free Press. It is inspired by the cover of a paperback edition of The Thin Man.

That is actually Dashiell Hammett himself pictured; behind him is a lady culled, I think, from a Rembrandt I had in a book. This piece is noteworthy also as the template for a Paradezign piece.
